Sean Allen, Behavioral Scientist
Sean is an experienced biostatistician, most often running quantitative analyses on behalf of our clients. He has extensive experience with a wide range of methodologies, ranging from longitudinal data analyses to geospatial statistics.
Sean started his career in public health by working in HIV prevention in Kentucky. His research interests focus on structural level interventions for HIV/AIDS and STI prevention among marginalized communities (e.g., persons who inject drugs, LGBTQ* individuals, etc.).
Sean received his Doctorate of Public Health in Health Behavior at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Sean also holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and undergraduate degrees in Biology and Entomology from the University of Kentucky. In addition to his role at Sharp Insight, Sean is an Assistant Scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
