Tori Justin, PhD, Associate: Health Equity Research and Evaluation

 
 
 
 

As an Associate at Sharp Insight, Tori is a professional health scientist with extensive knowledge in public health theories, methods, data gathering, analysis, and reporting. Tori brings particular expertise in qualitative methodology and health equity. Tori evaluates numerous initiatives at Sharp Insight, including those focused on anti-racism, chronic disease, HIV prevention, and mental health. With her research background, Tori often utilizes research-based strategies to evaluate and measure program performance and outcomes to improve both program and organizational effectiveness. Throughout her career, Tori has passionately used her research skills to investigate health disparities while also providing equitable recommendations. Tori presents her research annually at various international academic conferences and frequently publishes in scientific research journals. Tori received her PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland.

Outside “the office”

Tori is a yogi-in-training and movement enthusiast. With over five years of yoga practice, Tori dedicates a minimum of 5 hours a week to the hot room where she engages in her yoga practice. She also dedicates much of her time to her young puppy, Chance, a Boxer puppy Tori and her partner rescued in 2020.
