Team Thanks & Transitions

With Thanksgiving upon us, we want to extend our most sincere gratitude to Sharp Insight’s organizational partners. Through our work together this year, we have had the opportunity to provide evaluation services across numerous focus areas and sectors – the environment, youth development, education, racial equity and inclusion, LGBTQ* safe spaces, chronic disease prevention and support, mental health, food systems, and beyond. It is a genuine privilege to work with such talented individuals, and we are grateful to contribute to so many important causes.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our growing team! Over the past few months, we are proud to have welcomed three new staff members to Sharp Insight. Tori Justin has joined us as an Associate, bringing expertise in health equity research and evaluation. Egbert Ospina is our Junior Associate who has a passion for evaluation and skills in data analysis, mixed methods, and multiple languages. Finally, Patrice Forbes is our Strategic Communications Specialist who will be supporting both internal and external communications work. We hope you will welcome them with open arms.

We are also sad to bid a sweet farewell to Courtney Sims, our evaluator extraordinaire, data visualization expert, trainer, and blogger. While Courtney will certainly be missed, we are beyond grateful for her innumerable contributions to the Sharp Insight family over the past 4+ years!

While our team is laser focused on evaluation, we know that for many of our partners the week after Thanksgiving is more about fundraising.  We certainly wish you luck this #GivingTuesday!  And if you are able to give to others this year, we encourage you to donate to the causes most important to you on Tuesday, November 30th.

During this season of gratitude, we hope that you will be able to surround yourselves (physically or virtually) with those you love and feel thankful for the opportunity to work toward a stronger, healthier, and more equitable world.
